Kieran Sullivan is a Senior Research Analyst with the Applied Research and Innovation (ARI) team at Trilateral. His areas of expertise include data analytics, wireless networks, and energy efficiency in ICT systems. He has worked on European research projects since 2008, both as coordinator and partner, and has been a regular expert evaluator and rapporteur for the European Commission in recent years. Kieran is also a technical writer and former journalist. He designs and delivers various workshops related to writing in plain English, as well as contributing to a number of magazines and online publications.
Kieran holds an MSc in Computer Science (by research/dissertation) where he investigated data fusion methodologies in positioning systems. He has published papers on energy use in 5G mobile networks, as well as machine learning in Terahertz communication systems and eHealth scenarios. His primary degree is in Applied Physics and Instrumentation and he holds a Graduate Certificate in Technical Communication.
