Corinna Pannofino is Research Communications Officer at Trilateral Research.
Corinna works as part of the marketing team with a focus on research communications and the dissemination, exploitation and communication of EU funded projects.
She has several years’ worth of experience in science communication and EU project management, which she gained during the four years she worked as Project Manager for Promoscience, before joining Trilateral. She has participated in projects dealing with a wide range of topics ranging from tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, nanoscience and nanotechnologies, all the way to sustainable energy and mobility planning for smarter cities and electric mobility.
Corinna holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and an MSc in Functional Genomics from the University of Trieste, Italy.
She has worked as an intern at ICGEB (International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology), Trieste, Italy for a year where she carried out research for her dissertation Selection of antigen-specific B cells for the construction of recombinant antibodies.
She has substantial knowledge of molecular biology, genetics, immunology as well as a good understanding of cancer, diabetes, and allergy.
In 2012 she attended a Creative Writing course at Middlesex University, London and since has worked as a literary translator. She has recently translated the published collection of short stories by Cristina Marchesan, “Noi, Persone Speciali – We, Special People”.
